Shuffleboard goes Schleswig-Holstein

The German Shuffleboard family welcomes another state of Germany: Schleswig-Holstein. From the northernmost state of Germany, to be precise from the town of Neumünster... ...one application for membership reached the club. Of course, the GSA officials accepted the application and thus, Schleswig-Holstein is the next Shuffleboard state after Hesse, NRW, Rhineland-Palatinate, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
This has been made possible by Wolff-Dietrich Prager, who applied for membership in the GSA. As many many others in the past few days he was hooked by the appearance of Shuffleboard in the TV Show "Schlag-den-Raab". Wolff-Dietrich is also involved in the ice stock sport, where he serves as Vice President of their Association. He now links both sports together.
The Germans hope to recruit more members in the North, as some Board members travel to Flensburg, the northernmost town in Germany next Saturday to do a Shuffleboard presentation. This takes place in the Ostseeschule (www.ostseeschule-flensburg.de), where guests are most welcome.
